“We arrived on a Friday afternoon and picked this place for proximity to Foxwoods for a convention we were attending. The house was spotless, and I mean spotless! The house was beautifully decorated and the views were incredible! The house was a dream for our daughter, equipped with child-sized robes and a gorgeous bed.”

Beautiful stay! The farm was gorgeous and the views were breathtaking. We felt so comfortable and at home. The farm animals were enriching to be around, we fed and cared for the horses and Milly the pig - my 4-year old loved every second! It was so much fun and the animals were beautiful. There was so much to do between being at the farm and experiencing the nearby towns, Mystic and Stonington, which we visited. Kim and her husband had the best food and local spot recommendations - they were also so so kind to us, generous and accommodating. Very memorable trip for us, definitely going to be staying again. Core memory for my daughter for sure!

This place is simply amazing: a charming, exceptional and super comfortable house in a rustic farm. It was a unique experience especially for our daughter, who interacted for the first time with cows, chicken, horses and pigs. She loved them and helped us feed carrots to the horses :)
Kim is a lovey host and does everything to ensure that guests will have a great stay: she offers delicious drinks, food and picnic baskets (upon request). She also has the best tips of things to do and see around and is always available.
The house is well decorated and has a chic vibe - everything is well organized, every detail in each room, lots of scented candles, super comfy and very clean. The kids room has toys and children books, it was great. We also used the grill almost every day and prepared delicious and fresh steaks from farms nearby, eggs from the farm and fresh produce from around.
Will definitely come back for another stay! Actually, we can’t wait to come back!!

“As newlyweds, this mini getaway was perfect for us to spend quality time. We enjoyed seeing the animals from our windows, taking photos and observing the farm life. With both casinos close by, we were able to enjoy both the quiet side of Connecticut and the busy side. We enjoyed a few nights at the casino and came back to our private stay on the farm. We (a family of 3) had a perfect 2-week family retreat at Kim’s farm house. The house was immaculate and beautifully renovated with lots of thoughtful details. Kim has literally prepared everything we would ever need during our stay. She even set up a dream room for our little girl with the coolest bed, loads of children’s books and toys, and a desk full of drawing supplies. Our little one screamed when she saw the room and said it was the best room ever! The guest house is very private - completely separate from the main house and comes with its own private deck with a grill where we enjoyed a few meals. Overall this is a very unique property in the sense that you get all the modern comfort and luxury amidst the rustic countryside charm. Kim is a fantastic host - having worked with the luxury travel space for many years, she really knows how to create a memorable experience for the guests. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time from the start to the end. We also really enjoyed getting to know Kim’s lovely family and all the amazing animals (Moxy, Angus, Millie, Milo, the chickens, the horses, and the longhorns). Thank you Kim for the wonderful stay that we will cherish for a long time!

“I work remotely and was looking for a beautiful place to work out of for a few days, just for a change of scenery. 100 Acre Inn was the perfect solution to needing a little more nature in my every day! The style of the guesthouse is the ultimate combination of rustic and modern with enough space for both my husband and I to work without getting in each other’s way. The animals are delightful and friendly and the surroundings are serene! Kim was extremely communicative and attentive to any needs I had. I definitely hope to see this farm in other seasons!”

100 Acre Wood is pure magic!! We loved our stay so much. I’ll never forget my 3 year old daughter saying “I never want to leave. Like ever. I want to stay here forever”. The animals were so friendly and beautiful, the home cozy and immaculately decorated. Kim was the best host, super responsive and had superb recommendations. The farm store is also so cute and full of local goodies for purchase. The toys and books for kids were awesome. We will for sure be back!!

“Our stay was delightful. The farm is incredibly magical, and nothing is like waking up in the morning and taking in the picturesque view of chickens and a pig roaming around the properly and horses and cows out grazing. The house is all completely renovated with incredible style and comfort in mind. Top quality items are sprinkled throughout the house and no detail was overlooked. We absolutely loved the farm fresh eggs in the morning and really didn’t want to leave to sightsee, as the farm and house were just perfect!”

Kim & Yuri’s home was exactly that. A home. We felt so welcomed & healed by the atmosphere at the Farm. (plus that bed is A DREAM! I have never slept that peacefully in my entire life)

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful farm! Everything was immaculate, the bed was very comfortable, and host was super friendly and accommodating. There is an array of charming animals on the farm, from Millie the pig to two adorable miniature horses. The farm was in a great location, with plenty of beautiful places to visit that were a short drive away. We really enjoyed the farmer’s market at the velvet mill, and walks on conservation land.

We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay here!! We loved the idyllic location and view, and we had so much fun interacting with the horses, ducklings and of course Milly the pig! The house itself is beautiful, appointed with everything you could possibly need and decorated with impeccable style. There are even kids' toys and games, which we appreciated...and the farm-fresh eggs in the refrigerator were delicious! Kim is truly the hostess with the mostess, easy to communicate with and lovely in person! Of all the Airbnbs we've stayed in, this one goes down as one of the very best!! We'll be back as soon as we can!!

What a magical weekend! My husband, my mom and my 1 1/2 year old daughter came to 100 Acre to celebrate my moms birthday. We wanted something unique and peaceful. A place where we could create memories together and that’s exactly what we did. We fell in love with the horses on the farm. They were so friendly and we looked forward to visiting them throughout the day. The inside of the house is so chic and the playroom upstairs was perfect for my daughter. At night, we stayed up playing with the huge scrabble board and had the best time. The location is so close to Mystic and we had no problem driving into Mystic and coming back to our beautiful peaceful farmhouse. We have memories and pictures that we’ll cherish forever! Kim was SO helpful with recommendations. She was also super welcoming and we had the nicest chats. Thank you so much Kim for allowing us to experience your farm! We’ll be back!

The Owl’s nest at 100 acre wood was such a special get away. I am an animal
lover so having gorgeous, well-cared for animals in our backyard was just amazing. The house was spacious, cozy and we felt right at home. Kim has it stocked with pretty much everything you need. Loved all the little touches like the super snuggly robes, the little extras available for purchase in the house (cocktail mixers, special food items), and the detailed guide book. Kim was also the friendliest host I think I’ve ever had. She very obviously loves her animals, her farm and her community. It was lovely getting to know her and learning about the farm! 1 million % will be back!

This was the perfect three day getaway to get out of Brooklyn with my family. The house had great design and layout, was extremely clean, and all essentials provided. Direct views of the mountains and farm animals, and the fire pit was nice and cozy. The house had everything exactly how it was described by the host. Location was just 15-20 minutes from supermarkets, restaurants, ice cream, and wineries. Kim and Yuri were great hosts, timely responses and answered all our questions. Can’t wait to come back again in the spring to enjoy the foliage and beautiful farm views.
