Wooden Boat Show
The Wooden Boat Show, hosted in a partnership with WoodenBoat Publications offers something for all wooden boat enthusiasts and maritime history buffs. More than 100 traditional and classic wooden boats of every type will be on display, from handcrafted kayaks to mahogany runabouts, to classic daysailers to schooners. 1 day tickets and 3 day passes including family passes are available. Parking is free.
Juneteenth
Juneteenth is a historic day that marked the end of slavery in the United States. On June 19, 1865, Union soldiers delivered the news to Galveston, Texas that the Civil War was over and enslaved African-Americans were free. Texas was the last state to be informed that slavery had been abolished, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed. The day was recognized as a federal holiday on June 17, 2021, when President Joe Biden signed the Juneteenth National Independence Day Act into law.

Sun Whiskey Union
Start the weekend with live music and tastings of top-of-the-line whiskey, scotch, bourbon and rye – as well as sample craft cocktails. Chat with some of the distilleries’ representatives and experts on their style whiskeys and other libations! Indulge in some barbeque by Backyard Smokers and delectable treats by NoRA Cupcake Company. A portion of ticket proceeds will go to support the United Way of Southeastern Connecticut.
Gamer Con
Calling all video, table-top, collectible card, board and arcade gamers! The gaming tournaments will run all weekend, and there will be live music and a cosplay (fans dressed as their favorite characters from games, TV, movies and comics) on Saturday. Sunday is focused on the little gamers with kids able to play MarioKart, SuperSmash Brothers and more. Plus, the good folks at Microsoft will have their latest Xbox games available for play as well with FortNite, OverWatch, Halo and more! There will be arcade games, driving and even Guitar Hero in the lobby provided by CyberQuest and Kids’ Quest also located at Mohegan Sun.
